Type characteristics of copper oxide ore
According to the different types of copper oxide minerals contained in ores, oxidized copper ores can be divided into seven types, and the separability of different types of oxidized copper ores is quite different.
1. Malachite type: malachite is the main mineral, and other minerals are few. It belongs to easily selected ores and can be treated by sulfide flotation.
2, silicon Malachite type: mineral is mainly malachite, gangue is silicate, is refractory ore, can be treated by chemical dressing method.
3. Cupric type: ore is mainly composed of cupric ore and malachite, and the copper grade is high. No matter what type of gangue is, it can be treated by flotation.
4. The type of water vitriol: the ore is mainly copper bearing alum minerals, and it is medium beneficiability. It can be recovered directly by flotation or chemical beneficiation. If gangue is carbonate mineral, it can be treated by combined method.
5. Natural copper type: this kind of paragenetic mineral is coarser in size and richer in grade. It is an easily selected ore and separated by flotation.
6, combination type: copper oxide minerals are wrapped with limonite or mud with very fine grainy, and the grade is poor. If the gangue is silicate, it is a difficult type ore and can be directly recovered by chemical ore dressing; the gangue is a complex type.
7, the mixed type of copper oxide: the ore has oxide and sulfide, the composition is complex and the granularity is slightly coarse. If the gangue is silicate, it can be treated by flotation chemical dressing method.
